Frequently Asked Questions

What programmes do you offer?

We have two learning paths: the Core Programme, where students attend weekly classes for steady progress, and the À La Carte Lessons, which let families book lessons flexibly when extra help or revision is needed.

How big are your classes?

Each class has a maximum of eight students, guided by two dedicated tutors. This ensures every student gets individual attention and immediate feedback.

Which subjects and levels do you teach?

We specialise in Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Primary Science — for Primary 4–6 and Secondary 1–4 (including IP). Our materials follow the school syllabus closely while building stronger problem-solving skills.

What makes your lessons different?

We don’t lecture. We coach.
Through our APMC Focus Cycle™ and gamified learning system, students practise, get instant feedback, and build mastery through small wins. Lessons are structured, interactive, and results-driven — not passive.

Do you have lessons on public holidays?

Yes, we run on most public holidays so learning stays consistent, except for New Year and Chinese New Year.

Do You have lessons during June and December holidays?

Lessons continue as usual in June, as we use this period to prepare students for Semester 2, which is typically shorter and comes with a steeper learning curve leading up to the September/October exams.
We take breaks in November and December, when regular classes pause. During this time, optional Holiday Booster lessons are available for students who wish to revise or strengthen specific topics before the new school year.

Can my child try a lesson first?

Yes. We offer trial lessons at our standard rate so you can experience the real class environment before committing long-term.

What do I pay at registration?

Just the deposit, which varies by level and subject. Monthly fees begin in the following month, and January fees are invoiced at the end of December.

Is the deposit refundable?

The deposit is fully utilisable to offset your child’s final month of lessons when you withdraw or graduate, as long as notice is given according to our policy.

Do you offer discounts for multiple subjects?

Yes — families taking two or more subjects enjoy a 5 % discount on monthly fees. (Deposits are collected in full.)

How do I make payment?

We accept PayNow and bank transfer. For smooth record-keeping, we do not accept cash.

When are monthly fees due?

Invoices are sent out monthly. Please make payment by the due date stated on each invoice to keep your child’s slot secure.

What if my child has to miss a class?

We allow one replacement per month per subject for valid reasons such as illness (with MC), official school activities, or urgent family matters. If no replacement slot fits, we’ll provide the full lesson materials so your child stays on track.

Is homework given?

Yes. Homework is personalised to reinforce what was practised in class — not busywork, but targeted training to close gaps.

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes, whenever circumstances require. We’re fully equipped for online delivery, though we prioritise in-person lessons for richer interaction and focus.

How do withdrawals work?

Simply provide notice according to your enrolment terms, and the deposit will offset the final month’s fees. This keeps the process smooth for both sides.

Will my child be in good hands?

Absolutely. With 20 + years of experience and a system designed to build both confidence and consistency, our team supports every student to grow at their own pace — and start enjoying learning again.
